With longer days and a lighter pace, summer brings fresh focus to the studio. It’s a season for clear ideas, bold thinking, and shared momentum. Grounded in authenticity and shaped through co-creation, our work this season reflects both intention and imagination. In this edition, we’re sharing recent projects, creative sparks, and what’s guiding us forward.

Existing Projects
Emerald Tree House – Whistler
The Emerald Tree House in Whistler is nearly complete. The team at Blueline Contracting are working on finishing touches. Bocci light fixtures are going in, as well as the final millwork and interior finishes, each element adding depth and detail to the space.
Tucked into the forest canopy, the home is almost ready for occupancy, with the design fully realized and ready to be lived in. We’ve got something special planned to mark the moment, stay tuned for a first look inside.
Innovation
Architizer A+Award Finalist
This year, our commitment to design excellence was recognized on an international level. We were proud to be named a finalist for the Architizer A+Awards in the “Best Medium Firm” category, a meaningful nod to the work, values, and vision that shape our practice.
While we didn’t take home the award, the nomination itself marked a moment of reflection and momentum. It affirmed our belief in bold, authentic design and the power of collaboration. We’re excited to keep pushing forward!
Upcoming Projects
Cypress Place – Whistler
We’re excited to give a first look at Cypress Place, set along the edge of a golf course in Whistler. Moving towards construction, the home will feature concrete walls, wood cladding and millwork, and expansive glazing to connect the interior with the landscape.
The program leans modern, clean lines, open flow, and a layout built for both quiet retreats and easy hosting. Every detail is being considered with longevity, comfort, and quality in mind. We’re happy to be collaborating with Gavan Construction and Skerks Engineering on this project.
We’re looking forward to seeing Cypress Place evolve. Stay tuned as this project moves from concept to construction.
Office
Opening Party / Fisher & Paykel BBQ
This summer, we opened our doors and raised a glass to a new chapter. Surrounded by clients, consultants, family, and friends, our office opening party was a celebration of connection, collaboration, and the space we’ve built together. With catering by Peak Provisions, the evening was filled with great food, good conversations, and a shared sense of excitement for what’s ahead.
The following week, we kept the momentum going with an in-house BBQ, gathering around the grill and testing out new Fisher & Paykel appliances. It was a slower moment, simple, casual, and full of laughter, that reminded us how much we value time together, both in and outside of the studio.
From milestone moments to everyday rituals, these gatherings reflect what drives our work: community, creativity, and shared experience.
