Current Projects

Tvådela House – Kelowna

With CLT installed and rammed earth walls compacted, Tvådela House is taking shape! The materials and structure of this house blend pre-historic building methods with a new technology to create a contemporary home that is grounded in the landscape.

We are happy to be working with Ritchie Custom HomesAlexander Suvajac, and Earth House Holdings on this unique project.

Innovation

Wallpaper* Article

We are honored to see the Passive House Forest Retreat featured in Wallpaper*, and grateful for the immersive piece written by Architecture & Environment Director, Ellie Stathaki, that captures the essence of this project so well.

The article reflects years of detailed coordination, shared learning, and authentic collaboration. Captured by Ema Peter & Tina Kulic, the photography showcases the retreat’s dramatic forms, sculptural cantilever, and restrained material palette.

Airtight, well-insulated, and highly efficient, Passive Homes are designed to work with their environment rather than against it. Staying comfortable year-round while using a fraction of the energy of a conventional build. We are happy to have worked with Postle Construction Ltd. and Ikon Engineers on this project.

We are most grateful for our clients who sought out to create an efficient retreat that encourages slow living, quiet routines, and an intimate connection to the surrounding Pemberton Valley.

It is a private retreat that not only looks good, but also does good.’ – Ellie Stathaki

Upcoming Projects

Kadenwood – Whistler

We’re excited to give a first look at Kadenwood, a new home nestled into a steep rocky site. The project layers angled forms, extensive glazing, and dark cedar cladding bring a contemporary look to this prestigious Whistler neighborhood.

The program focuses on clean lines, open flow, and connection to the surrounding forest. The site provides ski in / ski out access, placing emphasis on its mountain modern design. We’re looking forward to seeing how this project develops, and happy to be collaborating with Gavan Construction and Skerks Engineering once again.
