Intermediate Interior Designer

Intermediate Interior Designer
Squamish, BC · Full-Time

We’re looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer who takes pride in their work, brings care to the process, and has a passion for design that is timeless with a refined edge.

You’ll contribute across all project phases — from early concept through construction administration — alongside a talented team of architects, designers, and technologists. If you value the process as much as the outcome and bring curiosity to your work, you’ll find a lot to engage with here.

This Role Is For You If

  • You have an eye for the finer details and genuinely enjoy the problem-solving side of design
  • You have a high bar for your own work, and it shows in your drawing sets
  • You’re self-motivated, manage your time well, and communicate clearly when you need to loop someone in
  • You notice when something could be improved — and follow through
  • You get energized contributing to a creative team — not just executing, but adding to the conversation

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute across all project phases — from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
  • Support the development of material selections, FF&E, colour palettes, and lighting, and help communicate those choices clearly to clients
  • Develop interior plans, elevations, details, and specifications with care and precision
  • Coordinate with the architecture team and consultants to keep design intent consistent across all documentation
  • Participate in site visits and support construction administration as the project progresses

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in an architectural or interior design studio, with a focus on high-end residential design
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe Suite; 3D rendering experience – confident enough to problem-solve and share knowledge
  • Working knowledge of the BC Building Code and Step Code
  • Experience producing drawing packages across multiple project phases
  • Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to multi-phase project work
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with your team, with clients, and with the drawings themselves
  • Interior Design degree or diploma, preferably from a CIDA-accredited program; NCIDQ certification (completed or in progress) is an asset

The Benefits

  • Extended health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Group RRSP plan
  • Paid vacation, paid Summer Fridays, and additional paid days in December
  • Support for continuing education, certifications, professional memberships, and conferences
  • Passive House certification support
  • Team adventures and activities
