STARK is an award winning architecture firm and Interior Design studio rooted in Squamish, BC. Our team of passionate professionals dedicates itself to crafting spaces that capture the spirit of our communities and the natural environment around them. At the same time, we continually adapt our approach to suit each client’s unique vision — exploring new ideas, materials, and processes along the way.

Our journey began in 2016 in Vancouver. Shortly after, we moved to the mountain town of Squamish, surrounded by what inspires us most — the great outdoors. As a result, the mountains, trails, and rivers outside our door shape everything we design. On any given day, you’ll find our team hiking or mountain biking long after the office closes.

Collaboration sits at the heart of everything we do. Specifically, we work closely with each client to build a deep understanding of the way they live. In doing so, we design spaces that foster genuine connection rather than simply looking the part. Furthermore, as a full-service studio, we stay actively involved at every stage — from first concept through to project completion.
